Stanhope Fire Department Loses a Legend : On Saturday August 8th the Stanhope Hose Company #1of Sussex County laid to rest Thomas Donahue Jr. Who past away after a short illness. Mr. Donahue was an active member of the Stanhope Hose Company for 58 years, 11 of those years he was Chief of the Department. Mr. Donahue served his country in the Navy during WW II and was always there for his community anytime day or night when the horn would sound. He truly is a hero and will be truly mist in the fire service. He was a true friend and beloved co worker may he rest in peace. Photo's by Kevin Maloney
